Berbere

A popular Ethiopian seasoning prepared primarily from red chili but is sun-dried together with many other spices and herbs, then milled into powder form

Awaze

A paste of Berbere containing spices of garlic, ginger seasoned butter and liquor. It is used as a side dip for meats

Mitmita

Spicy powder seasoning that contains chili pepper and the flavors of cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin & ginger

Kibe

Clarified butter that contains many herbs including cilantro, basil, garlic, turmeric, cumin and many more. It is used in the majority of Ethiopian dishes

Ayib

Mild Ethiopian cheese made from buttermilk
